The Russellville City Council has approved an agreement with the Russellville City School System to continue the Afterschool Care Program.

Mayor David Grissom said as a part of the agreement, the city allows the school system to use the Chucky Mullins Center on Hamilton Street for the program.

“This is an annual agreement we do with the school system,” Grissom said. “This is an value program that provides structured after school care and mentoring for students in the school system.

“I’m glad the city is able to participate in a program that provides such a positive impact on our students.”
